The competition was a huge succes and Jimmy will be back in October on the 24th for another day of
events and games. It will start at 2:30 in the afternoon. This is the first event for the 2010 competition. Admission
is $2.00.
"We have scheduled a Ranch Hand/Ranch Horse Competition for September 12th. It is a combination of a Ranch Rodeo and
a Playday/Gymkhana and is about the most fun we're likely to have this year.
It is put on by Rockin' T Cattle Company of Caulfield and is a very friendly event. Jimmy
Thomas keeps his entry fees low for a rodeo and allows beginners all the time they need to complete the event they enter.
The events are; team penning, 2 man draw - Bull Riding - Barrel Racing - Steer Branding - Mutton Busting - Calf Riding - Flag
Race - Buddy Barrel Pick up - Poles, and he says he'll add another 3 man tean penning event for us.
Come on down and give it a try. If all goes well, Jimmy will schedule more of these at our arena.
There is no admission for this first time, so bring your friends along to watch and cheer you
on."
The saddle club has been through many up and down cycles
in the past and is currently struggling to survive in this rotten economy. The club needs a little extra effort
by many of our members. Come on folks, helpin' out feels good!
